Armed police respond after two men found ‘unresponsive’ in vehicle

Police are investigating after two men were found “unresponsive” in a vehicle in South Auckland’s Manurewa early this morning.

Officers were called to the Addington Ave scene at about 3.20am this morning.

“The two males were transported to hospital with serious injuries,” a police spokesperson said.

“Armed police remain at the scene and have closed off part of Addington Ave, people are advised to avoid the area.

“There is no immediate risk to public safety. Police are making enquiries into the incident.”
