Multiple gunshots were fired at a house in Auckland’s Māngere overnight, sparking a police investigation.
Police were called to the address on Outrigger Place at around 9.25pm. A large armed officer presence could be seen at the home last night.
“Multiple gunshots were fired at a house causing exterior damage. No one was injured,” a police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said police were still working to establish the circumstances of the shooting and if it was gang-related.
“A scene examination will be carried out this morning.
“There is no further information available at this stage.”
It follows a string of incidents in the past two months where homes in Auckland have been shot at overnight.
Anyone with information on last night’s shooting has been urged to call police on 105.
