A magnitude 6.6 earthquake has struck off the coast of Tonga this morning.
The quake occurred at a depth of about 10km, the US Geological Survey said, about 154km southeast of Neiafu.
The quake struck shortly after 9am NZT, the government agency added.
The US Tsunami Warning System said no tsunami warning, advisory, watch, or threat had been issued.
