One ticket has won Lotto Powerball’s mammoth $30 million jackpot this evening.
The winning numbers are: 32, 17, 28, 30, 21, 12, bonus ball 36, and Powerball 10.
In addition, five Lotto tickets have won $200,000 each with Lotto First Division.
Strike Four has rolled over to Saturday’s draw.
The April, June and then in August, which was the largest ever jackpot won in NZ Lotto history.
Lotto NZ head of corporate communications, Will Hine, earlier told Stuff “excitement is definitely building” for tonight.
The Powerball First Division prize pool starts at $4m and in each draw it’s not won, the jackpot grows.
The likelihood of any jackpot sequence reaching $30 million is roughly 10%.
“To have this happen four times in a calendar year is very rare,” Hine said.

Lotto said they look forward to meeting the newest multi-millionaire – whether it’s now or in a few weeks’ time if the jackpot rolls over again.
Before Wednesday night’s draw, at least 450,000 Powerball tickets had been purchased; 55% of those were bought online, and the rest instore.
Lotto advised players to have fun and only spend what they could afford.
