- A man has been taken to hospital in a moderate condition after he was found stabbed in the car park of an Auckland supermarket last night.
The man was located in the car park of PAK’nSAVE Pukekohe on Harris St just before 10pm on Wednesday.
“Police found that the man had an injury consistent with a stab wound,” a spokesperson said.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to find out what has occurred and who was responsible.”
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called out to assist but was later stood down.
“Transportation to hospital by helicopter was not required and crew returned to base,” a spokesperson said.
