Tonga Police have confirmed 19 arrests during a DUI Alcohol Operation conducted last week.
The operation targeted drivers suspected of operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol.
Police said the arrests included 13 males aged between 17 and 62 years.
Six females aged between 19 and 55 years were also among those taken into custody.
Authorities reiterated that drink driving is a serious offence.
They warned it endangers lives and compromises road safety.
Police said enforcement operations will continue nationwide.
The aim is to ensure safer roads for all members of the public.
