A pedestrian has died after a crash involving a vehicle in east Auckland last night.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Pakuranga Rd shortly after 9pm.
“Sadly, despite best efforts, the pedestrian died at the scene,” a police spokesperson said.
St John said it sent one ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and one manager to the scene.
The serious crash unit attended and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash were ongoing.
